FORLI

Forli was an important pass on the Via Emilia during the Roman period, adjacent to the Apennine Mountains in central Italy, serving as a pivotal city connecting the east and west of Italy. With a rich history, Forli has witnessed continuous commercial exchanges since the Roman Empire. As the economy flourished, cultures from different regions of Italy collided and merged here, leading to the construction of many churches and palaces with medieval European characteristics. Black was often used as an accent and artistic pairing in the construction of some areas of these churches and palaces, presenting a richer design expression. The overall FORLI surface resembles a deep, captivating black, akin to pearls, serving as the backdrop. The gray-white striped stone patterns float gracefully in layers, resembling auspicious clouds dancing in the night sky. Through natural vicissitudes, they carve out an elegant art with unique and mysterious charm.
